I photograph portraits of buildings and the urban environment.
A native German, I am based in Charlotte, North Carolina and in Munich, Germany – convenient, since my work takes me all across Europe and the United States.
My training as an architect at the Munich University of Applied Science and subsequently working at several notable architecture firms made me see with the architect’s eye.
This translates into my work as a photographer, it lets me read architecture’s visual language and understand the planner’s intent.
I specialize in historic structures and houses of worship of any denomination.
