Commissioned in 1887 by Prinzregent Luitpold, the Justizpalast (Palace of Justice) in Munich is a baroque revival building with two inner courtyards and a central hall of 19 m x 29 m (62 ft x 95 ft).
The central hall features a plethora of gorgeous marble staircases and a glass light cupola with a roof lantern 66 m (216.5 ft) high.
The beautiful building borders the quaint Old Botanical Garden to the north and it can be prominently seen from Munich’s Karlsplatz (Stachus).
